The Ds1 MIDI mixer is a portable solution for computer-based mixing, production, and performance, constructed with only the highest quality parts and materials. The DS1 is a creative collaboration between Livid Instruments and Dubspot. This partnership was forged from a shared desire to bring classic audio mixer design to the digital world. Ds1 introduces MIDI control to the familiar layout of audio mixers and expands the creative possibilities of signal routing and sound processing using digital audio workstations. It’s your hands-on, dedicated controller for instant access to your mix, effects or instrument parameters.

Setup

The Ds1 simply works with any software that supports MIDI. Templates are available for popular digital audio workstations such as Ableton Live, Bitwig Studio, Logic, and more. Whether you are mixing in the studio, performing on stage, or traveling to a gig, the ds1 is designed to fit into your setup and lifestyle. Ableton Live

A straightforward, no nonsense solution to mixing inside the box. It provides instant access to five macros on each track to setup your desired workflow. Includes ableton racks and presets to get you started on several conceptual mixing layouts.

NI Traktor

Ds1 is the ultimate Traktor controller. The script provides comprehensive control over all of your decks, your music library, and every aspect of your mixes. Features four decks and four effects worth of control and can be used with the Livid  MasterFader for crossfade capability.

Logic

Instantly access to your channel strips across eight channels as well as channel volume pan and a parametric eq. Scale up or down your mix as necessary. Ds1 is a versatile hardware solution for mixing inside the box.

Why Dubspot?
